Can someone please enlighten me.
If someone is admonished in court, does it mean they have no criminal record?

I was Admonished and had to phone disclosure Scotland to see if i could still work in the job that i used to do, and they said it would be a held as a criminal offence on my record, and as the job i did needed disclosure i could no longer work in that industry.
You can also phone Criminal records board and APEX Scotland, who would tell you also.
I would check it out with them to double check thou.

admonished, means that you get a conviction on your record but no penalty.
I would have thought being a police officer you would know this. |

Yep I was so. Didn't take to do with court disposals though.
Thanks to those who replied.
