After fighting with SCCRC since 2001 My QC has managed to get a 1 day hearing in the High Court to ask that I be allowed to revoke the "Nobile Officium"
Since they are claiming I had an appeal in 1982 (Which in reality was an application for leave to appeal) we are going to argue that the Law at the time clearly stated I was entitled to be legally represented.
Since the legal aid board refused legal aid they breached my right to a fair hearing therefore the Interlocutor then pronounced should be classed as unfair and should fall to be set aside.
Legal aid for anyone interested was refused because my "Sacked" QC told the board I had no grounds, "After he was sacked" and I made serious allegations against him which can be seen here:

And here is proof of my complaints to the High Court:

Everyone charged with a criminal offence and facing a prison term is entitled to be legally represented, that was the law then.
What right did a QC no longer working on my case have to voice his opinion to the legal aid board ?
and a "QC" who I had made serious allegations against.
Anyone wishing to attend is more than welcome to come along to see the outcome.
The more the merrier.
The date is set for 16/09/2008

George Beattie
The above named is appearing in court on the same day as my appeal.
SCCRC referred his case back to appeal court in 2001.
Absolutely diabolical that it has taken 7 years for this man to get a hearing.
Below is a case history and summary of events that lead to him being charged with murder.

What amazes me is the fact they can still find police notebooks from 1973 yet in my case they are saying they cannot find police statements ? |

For some unknown reason the appeal date of 16th September has been pulled by the High Court.
Back to the drawing board and uncertainty again to await another date then.
Apparently and according to the court it was only assigned a 30 minute hearing when in fact it requires a full day.
My reading of Kevin's link on injustice's was it was assigned a full day seen here :

I have just been informed that infact the High Court has not pulled it from their page and is still running it here:
