Annie Borgesson an intelligent, good, and beautiful young Swedish girl was working in Edinburgh and due to return to Sweden for an appointment when she died in very mysterious surroundings. Her body was found on the beach at Prestwick. Despite the evidence to the contrary the police and crown/fiscals office would not investigate or hold a Fatal Accident Inquiry. This case brings our justice system into disrepute as Annie's mother cannot begin the process of grieving or closure until she knows how her daughter died. Please read the details at:

as said the case of annie needs opened again. where is the closure for guje, there is much in u division and ayrshire pf office to answer, keep up the fight yours freethekillie2.

This case should definitely be reopened, but what also needs to be done is a reform of the Fiscals service - where they are apparently accountable to no one other than themselves - another pot of self regulation which deserves to be ended as soon as possible.

I suspect developments in this case can only come from the Justice Department - the local Fiscals office and Crown Office won't want to go back on their decisions, because they don't have anyone telling them to do so from higher authority yet - and at times, asking a Fiscal to reopen a case, or reconsider their judgment whether a case go forward or not can be a very dangerous affair as I found myself when I questioned the local Fiscal's decision not to hold an FAI into the death of my mother at Borders General Hospital in 2000. It turned out the Fiscal did no interviews of Hospital staff, nothing at all, then just because I asked her why she didn't, she sent the local Police round to threaten me on her behalf - the incident only being cleared up when I wrote to the then serving Lord Advocate and gave the entire story to a Scotsman journalist.

A nasty bunch some of these Fiscals - and time their little unaccountable empire was brought to an end.

Annie lived in Edinburgh, and She was found in Prestwick. She was found dead aprox 08.30 on Sunday morning 4 dec 2005.
From day 2 after her death , they spoke about a suicide? Why?
And in the newspaper there was a small note ending with the words "No suspicious circumstances."
At this time we didnt know why Annie was in Prestwick. We thought at this time that She was on her way home to Sweden, Annie told me that she thought of visite me first, and go to her hairdresser in Södertälje, before she went to Spain 6 Dec. She was the only one who was allowed to tuch Annies very thick beautiful blond hair. Annie was so careful with her hair. And then go home to Tibro to her family for Christmas. We still doesent know why she was in Prestwick! Did she met somebody? We believe so.

At this time the police said that there was people looking day and night if Annie was spotted on the CCTV

When Annies mother GUJE got the body of her beloved daughter home Annies mother was devestated, and when she opened the transportation box, she imidiatly saw that something was so wrong with her daughter.
Annies hair had been chopped off!! Guje was chocked!
I was so chocked to when Guje phoned me and told me about Annies beautiful hair and of the other bruises on her body. We thought that the killer had taken the hair as a trophy.
The police asked Guje and the family if they wanted some of Annies personal belongings also send home at the same time but Guje said NO it is evidence and the clothes and bag and the things in the bag must remain at the police.

Guje didnt see the box first, but then She did, so after discovering that somebody had chopped of Annies hair, and after dressing her daughter, looking at the bruises on her body and the one on her left tempel, she looked at the box.
She didnt understand what was inside the box.

Guje went home and brought the box with her. Later in the kitchen in the familys house, they gathered around the table to open the box.

The devestated family opened the box and in the box they found Annies clothes, still wet and sandy, smelling like they have started to decompose. Annies bag, her jacket , and some of the things was in plastic bags, among other things was the mobile phone.
Annies brother helped his mother to open the mobile phone, and that to was wet and sandy. It wasnt examined at all. Annies brother looked down in the mobile, and it wasn opened, why wasnt this a Important evidence?
Guje looked inside her daughters bag, and it was still wet. Inside there was a lot of pieces of paper, and most of them had been destroyed by lying in the water.
In Annies bag , Guje found 2 library books that Annie was going to return to the library in Skovde near Tibro.They had spoked a lot of those books, and It was important to Annie to bring them back in time.

A lot of personal items wasnt in the bag, Guje didnt know if the other things was still at the Police , kept as evidence.

But they are still missing today!

The funeralpeople phoned Guje and told her that they had found a envelope that was in the Box that Annies body was transported in.
In that envelope was Annies creditcards, bonus cards and other plastic cards that she had.

Then suddenly the police contacted Guje and wanted Annies ceditcard number and the number of some other cards.

Guje recieved a copy of the othopsy and the other bruises wasnt mentioned.

Guje asked for the report of the testresult, but was told they could take som time.

3,5 mounth after , Annies father and brother, manage to travvel to Scottland, Prestwick, they had been so sad, devestated, now they wanted to se the place where Annie was found, and talk to the people Annie known.

At the airport the police picked them up, drove them to the shore, the police didnt know where ANNIE was found, so the father and brother asked people that was going there, on the side walk by the sea in Prestwick bay, if they knew.

But nobody did!

The police phoned Guje when the father and son sat in the airplane on their way bac kto Sweden and told Guje that they had spotted Annie on the CCTV camera both at the Airport and later at Station Road 16.05.

Guje and the family, havent seen this movie, they havent recieved a picture of the movie.

Annie was ALIVE 16.05 walking at Station Road.

The police told the family that they will not investigate what happened to Annie after 16.05.

A vittnes say that he saw a MAN standing 150 meters out on the wet shore at aprox 17.00 , mabye later.

Guje havent got a name on that person. Mabye it was the person who did something to our Annie?

We still doesnt know where Annie went after 16.05. And did Annie wear the clothes that was found with her?

Annie was smoking at the CCTV from the airport

When she was found, there was no lighter, or cigarettes!

Annies important filofax notebook is missing , why?? We all know that Annie wrote things down there, and that she had a lot of names and adresses to all her friends there.
We also know that she had the adress to some friends that is missing! We cant remember their names, and the police didnt come up with some names when they asked the people Annie had worked with or the friends Annie lived with.

Annies room wasnt investigated!!

A man that she met , he told Annie his name was Martin Lesley the rugbyplayer, and they meet several times, that man told the police HE wasnt in Scottland at that time.
Annie met him when she was on a scollarship, working at the Scottish Whhiskey Heritage Center, and she met him in November , a week before she was found dead.

But the police dont believe us, when we told this. Because they intervjued Martin Lesley and he told them that it wasnt him that she met.

On the Statement Guje recieved, it was strange, that the police had written the name of Martins brother John instead!

Why? isnt it strange that they intervju Martin but they write John instead????

A friend to Annie who opened a small butique where he sold t-shirts , HE closed his butique 4 days after Annie was found dead!!!

Why???

Dear All that reads this, now I am very tired so I will continue my story another day.

As the Open letter to the new "Justice" Secretary (Kenny MacAskill MSP) suggests, Annie's case MUST be re-opened by the Crown Office and Kenny MacAskill MUST demand this of them (demand a FAI) or he will lose ALL credibilty as our new Cabinet Secretary "FOR JUSTICE".

Open letter to SNP Cabinet Secretary for JUSTICE, Kenny MacAskill MSP:

Dear Mr MacAskill,

Annie Borjesson, 1975 - 2005 (RIP) – Fatal Accident Inquiry urgently required

Following our Open Letter to you last Friday, this is another direct appeal to you re the above case which, as a Lothians list MSP for the area in which Annie lived at the time, you will be all too well aware of and, we feel, now have a moral obligation to act upon expeditiously and forcefully (with the new powers and resources at your disposal) for the Borjesson family.

We are certain that you and / or your staff will read this Forum on a daily basis and, therefore, will be up to speed on the many anomalies that surround the very mysterious circumstances which led to Annie’s premature death at Prestwick beach, on or around Sunday the 4th of December 2005. There are also many further anomalies subsequent to her body being discovered at or around 8.30am that Sunday morning. All these anomalies MUST be PROPERLY, INDEPENDENTLY and IMPARTIALLY INVESTIGATED by a Fatal Accident Inquiry as soon as possible.

Annie’s distraught mother (Guje) and family, close friends and we, the Concerned People of Scotland, all feel there are sufficient grounds for this case to be re-opened by the Crown Office and for a Fatal Accident Inquiry to convene to examine the many anomalies surrounding the very mysterious circumstances leading up to and after Annie’s untimely passing.

As our new Cabinet Secretary for JUSTICE, and a father of two yourself, we hope you will take on board our many concerns over the suspicious circumstances surrounding Annie’s passing, and its subsequent “investigation” by the local constabulary and PF’s Office in Kilmarnock, and now DEMAND that this very mysterious and tragic case be re-opened … IMMEDIATELY.

We trust you won’t let the people of Sweden and Scotland down.

I hope that the police and the other people who decide this thing finally re open her Case. And I hope something happens so they open ALL the cases that is closed or not properly investigated.

Why is it that the things WE know is not enough for them to see that there is something terrible wrong?

If Annies mother tell the police that Annie phoned home from a telefon both to her family and that she was afraid that someone would hear her???

Why dont the police take this seriously??

It wasnt the police who discovered that the telephonenumber Annie phoned from was from a telefon both !!!

If Both Annies mother, family and all of us friends tell the police that Annie met a man that introduced himself to her as Martin Lesley (leslie I have seened different spellings )

Why dont the police take this seriously????

They spoke with Martin and he claims he wasnt in Scottland at this time!

Why did the police write his name wrong??

They wrote JOHN instead of Martin ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,why?? If a person write the wrong name in a investigation , I think that is NOT ACCEPTED!!

If I write another name instead of mine on something, ""that is against the law isnt it????????

And Why is it that Martin doesnt speak out loud???

If I was a rugbystar and some other man walked around and told a girl that he was me, I would take my responsibility and would speak out both to the newspapers and to the radio.

And I would also write to the family and offer them my deepest condolencys

And Annie loved rugby, and she had a lot of friends at the club. One woman that saw Annie speaking to a NZ rugbyplayer phoned the police and told them that she had seened this.

They did not questione her , one man at the rugbyclub told Guje and me , when we were there on a visite.

And everything Annie told us was exactly as she said, and people she had described to us , was as she had said! And she was dearly missed by the people we met.

If Annie ALWAYS carried her filofax notebok with her, and that is gone ( and both her family and us friends knows that that was so IMPORTANT to her.

Why doesnt the police find this strange??

Annie was a froozen person, she always was careful not to become cold, and Annie was found in a thin T-shirt/top without her jacket , cap, scarves in tartan colours and her gloves.

why is this not properly investigated???

Annie was a smoker. She always tried to have 2 lighter, because if one is emty, she always had one that worked-

She was found without lighter and cigarettes!!!
She was smoking on the CCTV movie from the airport !!!!

Why is it that NOBODY was at the Prestwick beach, walking their dog, walking or bicyckling the 3 December????

And if , why did they not contact the police when they read the tiny article??

Why is it that Annies body, jacket and bags were found at the same spot??
THey have different dencities!!!!!!!

AND ONE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION IS;

WHY HAVENT THE OTHER PERSONS THAT ANNIE KNEW, AND TO WHOM SHE ALSO WROTE POSTCARDS TO FROM SWEDEN, WHY HAVENT THEY CONTACT THE POLICE WITH THEIR INFORMATION???

They must have red about Annies death!

Somebody must STAND UP for the justice, We need somebody brave enough to do that!

ANNIE loved Scottland, and the people and I truly understand her, I wished for her the best in life

Her time on this earth is to an end but ANNIE still needs a BRAWEHEART!!!! so I ask You ALL where is her WALLACE????

His love was brutaly killed!!!!! But he wasnt afraid to STAND UP for his people and mabye it is now time to do that!!

Think of the devestated familys and friends that is feeling that something is wrong with the way their loved ones died.

If somebody writes a Open letter like the one You " AL" have done and ALL the relatives and friends and caring people would write their names on that letter and mabye even go to the Parliament, do You think that Mr Kenny MacAskill would read the letter and do something aboute it????

I am willing to write my name on that letter, and if everybody that feels the same would write mabye we all are much STRONGER in our request ???

I dont know how this things should be done but I believe in my heart that if we ALL stand together, we could make our voices loud.

And the pen is much stronger than the sword somebody wrote!!!

Oh that I could claim to be the William Wallace you seek for your dearly loved friend, Annie (RIP).

We will, however, together, make that breakthrough for you, Guje, Annie’s family and close friends.

The case will be re-opened, a Fatal Accident Inquiry will convene, the truth will out and “Justice for Annie” will be done…………

Thank You for sharing Your lovely poem with all of Us.

My dear friend Annie will live thrugh our memories of all the laughter and all the beautiful memories of the times we spent together. We who knew Annie and those who met her briefly will remember that she loved life and she loved Scotland, and the people that lived there.

Annie soul will forever stay in Scotland, the land that She loved .

Annie was a great singer and her voice will be heard through the wind in Scotland.

Every time the gentle rain will appear , Annie is sitting in heaven crying for Justice not only for her , but for ALL of them who needs a closure.

We have All worked so hard to get the truth aboute what happened to her, and You have been fighting so long and hard too.
