A good set of videos, Wullie, and one wonders why, now we are well into 2008, the Crown Office and the Lord Advocate haven't yet implemented any of what they are claiming to be the case on disclosure.
If the Lord Advocate is to be believed in her testimony to the Parliament on disclosure, along with Crown Office officials who seemingly indicate there were solutions being worked on, why for instance, are you, and many others still having to fight for disclosure today. _________________ My blog on issues of injustice in Scotland A Diary of Injustice in Scotland by Peter Cherbi

Peter And Free The Killie 2
One does wonder why cases that Crown are saying the evidence was released at the time of the trial but they are allowed to deny the same for appeals, as is happening in my own case and killie's.
Lets face it originally i was told i would have to wait 75 years to see any documents.
Given the Lord Advocate was aware of Holland And Sinclair and Bonomy report and the right to see all material that Crown base their case on why is she being allowed by our courts to deny anyone material needed for appeals.
Clearly she should be held to account for her actions.
I have found another video in which The Lord Advocate seeks to convince the Justice Committee that 15 % of cases in England and Wales proceed without the accused, At the end Hugh Henry is heard to whisper in amazement 15% so i am just wondering if anyone will take this matter up as it may be she has mislead the justice committee on the actual statistics of the ammount of cases proceeding without accused present.
As i understand the issues of trials without accused.
If Identification is an issue (Which it is in most cases) then the trial cannot procedd without an accused.
We also have our right to be present at any hearing section 6 Human Rights.
I am not suggesting she lied but perhaps did her sums wrong if she even did any.
Perhaps the justice department from England would confirm this
