Peter Brogan should have been sacked for his actions.

Had this been anyone else they would have been placed on the sex offenders rigster without hesitation why not him ?

To think that this man could be looking through the spy holes in our prisoners doors is sickening.

The story stops short of telling us exactly what were the suspicious sex toys found in his camper van and exactly what use he could have made of them, yet do not place him on the sex offenders register.

Some serious questions need asking of this man by the Justice Secretary but no doubt Kenny MacAskill will dodge the questions like he did with the Jurors details being released last week.

No one was harmed but that may have just been luck.

And if what is said in the papers is true, then the most worrying thing is not the sex toys alone in my opinion. It is them together with duct tape. Who knows what was in this man's mind? What did he have planned I wonder?

I would be surprised if he does get the sack, more because he will have a watertight contract designed under Labour, which will give Kenny no reason to sack him.  Remember this though someone in his position depends entirely on respect.  Prison officers and prisoners alike.  I would seriously like to be a wee Scottish fly on the wall of his office the next time he tries to discipline a member of staff or a prisoner.

I would like to hear the cat calls the next time he walks through the prison.
