It is now fully two years since Scotland elected a minority SNP Government, under very dubious circumstances – remember the wasted 150,000 votes?  Salmond became Scotland’s new First Minister and he quickly appointed his shoe-in Cabinet Secretary for Justice, MacAskill, as the person to head Scotland’s Justice Department and to initiate the much-needed legal reforms that Scotland’s beleaguered justice system demanded.  We knew pretty much from the outset that we were going to be in for more of the same when Salmond and MacAskill appointed Elish Angiolini, who had been at the Scottish Crown Office for many years, as Scotland’s "new" Lord Advocate.

Over these past two years (730 days) many cases of injustice and miscarriages of justice have been highlighted on this forum and these cases have been drawn to the attention of Salmond and MacAskill (and Angiolini), but they have done nothing to intervene, investigate and help those who have approached them with their cases of injustice – many dating back several years and which should have been resolved long before they scraped to power on Friday 4 May 2007.

It is now glaringly obvious that we have a Scottish Government who are in bed with the legal establishment (Law Society, Scottish Crown Office, SCCRC etc) and there are simply far too many vested interests at play for there to ever be any major legal reforms.  MacAskill, being a former lawyer, certainly knows where his interests are … and it is not in pursuing the truth and justice for you or me I’m afraid … especially when your case involves exposing criminality, wrong-doing, corruption and injustice with the legal profession, police, local authorities, Law Society, Scottish Crown Office, SCCRC and any other Scottish establishment organisations he is in bed with.

I am apolitical and am not affiliated to any political party, so this is not a vendetta against the SNP.  I have no time for any of our politicos at Holyrood or Westmister now and don’t feel any of the 129 at Holyrood are interested or concerned enough about injustice in Scotland … because it doesn’t serve their interests to be too critical and outspoken about injustice at the hands of all the organisations mentioned above, and MacAskill himself of course.

I wish everyone who is pursuing justice for themselves, their friends and their loved ones well and hope that somehow, someday, you all achieve the truth and justice you seek, find some peace of mind and can pick up the fragmented pieces of often ruined and broken lives that Scotland’s corrupt justice system has changed forever.

Shame on Salmond and MacAskill … who will never help you when it comes to injustice in Scotland … too many vested interests at play, and that will always be the case.

__________

Below is an Open Letter to MacAskill that I received the other week.  Perhaps you should all consider sending it to MacAskill (highlighting your own cases of injustice as well) to see what reaction you get …

Kenny MacAskill MSP
Cabinet Secretary "for Justice"
Scottish Parliament
Edinburgh
EH99 1SP

Kenny.MacAskill.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

Dear Mr MacAskill

In the 23 months [two years] since your appointment by Alex Salmond (the First Minister of Scotland) as Cabinet Secretary "for Justice", could you please inform us exactly what good you have done for your constituents of Edinburgh East and Musselburgh who appointed you, and Scotland's 5,000,000 population as a whole?

As far as we have seen you are simply helping and protecting your 10,000 fellow solicitors, the Law Society, legal "profession" as a whole and the Edinburgh and Scottish establishment in general.

Certainly, in the many cases of wrong-doing, corruption and injustice involving local government, the police, YOUR legal "profession" and many other groups and organisations in Scotland, you have done nothing for those "malcontents" who have approached you (often pleading for your help) seeking the TRUTH and JUSTICE in their individual cases of injustice at the hands of corrupt and crooked individuals and organisations you are only too well aware of yourself.

Are you a protector of the Edinburgh and Scottish establishment (especially YOUR legal "profession") and indifferent to the plight of those who approach you with their cases of injustice seeking your help?

Confirm or deny please.

Looking forward to your response.

PostPosted: Mon May 04, 2009 12:41 pm    Post subject: Our SNP "Government" exactly two years on ... Reply with quote

Today sees exactly two years to the day (Friday 4 May 2007) since our minority SNP "Government" took control from the Scottish Labour Party's grip on power at the Scottish Parliament ... scraping to power by the skin of their teeth with 47 MSPs - to Scottish Labour's 46.

I'm sure, like me, you all hoped for a new dawn when it came to justice issues and reforms in Scotland, but we were very soon to realise, after Salmond appointed his self-protecting and lawyer-loving friend Kenny MacAskill as his Cabinet Secretary "for Justice" and they in turn appointed Elish Angiolini as our "new" (same old) Lord Advocate, that we were to be in for more of the same when it came to Scottish "Justice".

They have now proved to us beyond any doubt over these past two years that they are indeed the Tartan Tories and the party of big business and the Scottish establishment, only interested in keeping the status quo and their friends in the Scottish legal establishment (Scotland's 10,000 lawyers, the Scottish Law Society, the Scottish Crown Office, the SCCRC, the SLCC etc) very sweet ... and to hell with the rest of us, injustice cases and the TRUTH and JUSTICE for their fellow Scots (and others seeking their help and intervention).

Every single case of injustice and miscarriage of justice highlighted on this forum over these past two years has been drawn to Salmond's and MacAskill's attention, but they have done nothing for anyone approaching them often pleading for their help and intervention.

Was this the "open, honest, fair, just, truthful, transparent, compassionate and caring" new Scottish "Government" that the people of Scotland wanted and voted for on Thursday 3 May 2007? I think not.

Shame on Salmond and MacAskill … who will never help you when it comes to injustice in Scotland … too many vested interests at play, and that will always be the case.

Get rid of them at the earliest opportunity people of Scotland ... for they are indeed the party of and for the Scottish establishment ... and NOT for Scotland's c.5,100,000 ordinary souls ... especially those seeking justice for themselves or their friends and loved ones.

Now, that really would be "Justice For All".

This problem is donkeys years old. Its been going on all my life and probably a lot longer than that.

Not one government, no matter what party, is willing to stand up and say that these cases continue to happen. SNP simply inherited all the years of inaction on this subject.

Not many MPs in my opinion have learned any lessons about miscarriage of justices. And certainly no prime ministers from any party have learned anything.
The good ones, who do try to help are usually out numbered or ignored just like us.

They like to think these things happened only in the past, but there have been several governments in the times of many of the cases we highlight, who have done nothing to help. We are still fighting cases from 35 years ago. Salmond and MacAskill can hardly be blamed for those original cases.

But they should now be standing up and being counted I agree.

They should all remember that it is the public who vote. And if they want our votes then they need to start listening to what the public want and need.

Salmond and MacAskill have been at the helm for two years now ... 730 days.

Every case highlighted on this forum has now been drawn to their attention, sometimes on numerous occasions ... by letter campaigns, peaceful protests, marches on the Scottish Parliament and even by seeing them in person (at Bute House or their constituency surgeries) on some occasions too.

A lot of cases pre-dating their time in power they were of course fully aware of ... and even personally involved in some instances.

So, I really cannot agree with any defence of their actions and inactions over the past two years.  It is defending the indefensible.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one I'm afraid.

All the best.

EMAIL TO SWINNEY AND RESPONSE

Subject:   Mckenzie friend
Date:   Fri, April 24, 2009 5:20 pm
To:   John.Swinney.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

Dear Mr Swinney

It is wholly unacceptable that you put your ministerial duties before the
duty to your constituents.

As Mr Stewart McKenzie has sought your support for his petition on a
McKenzie friend in Scottish courts you should be continuing the support
that has at least helped expose the corruption that continues in those
courts and the many lives still being damaged by hearings that make
Zimbabwe pale by comparison . The multi billion pound fleecing of innocent
victims of those courts continue under an SNP administration.

Please take the time to support your constituent on this very important
petition as SO FAR  the SNP administration have failed the Scottish public
by allowing the monopoly of the law society and lawyers to continue in
Scottish courts.

Yours in disgust

Dear Mr S

John Swinney MSP has asked me to send you the email below in response to yours of
24th April 2009.

Yours sincerely
Elaine Wylie
Office Manager to John Swinney MSP

Dear Mr S*******

Thank you for your email of 24th April 2009.  I can confirm that due to the
obligation placed on me to exercise collective Ministerial responsibility, I am
unable to participate in the proceedings of the Public Petitions Committee, unless
invited to do so as a Minister.  It would be inappropriate to speak on an issue,
which is the responsibility of one of my Ministerial colleagues.  I can assure you;
however, that full consideration will be given by the Scottish Government, to any
issue arising from the deliberations of the petition by the Public Petitions
Committee.

In terms of my constituent, Stewart Mackenzie, I have been heavily assisting him
with his various cases on a regular basis since my election in 1997.  I will
continue to do this in my capacity as his constituency Member of the Scottish
Parliament.

Yours sincerely
John Swinney MSP

TWO YEARS ON AN APPRAISAL OF SCOTTISH "JUSTICE"

"Imo"

Many thanks for circulating this Topic ("article") throughout Scotland and across the globe.  Let's hope Swinney, Salmond, MacAskill and the SNP do indeed find this "appraisal of Scottish 'Justice' " of interest and now start to properly listen to and treat their 5.1million fellow Scots with a bit more dignity, care, compassion and respect (especially all those contacting them with their cases of wrong-doing, corruption, criminality and injustice at the hands of the Scottish legal "profession", Scottish police, local government and other establishment organisations in Scotland) rather than pander to the demands and vested interests of the Scottish legal "profession", big business and the Scottish establishment in general.

Wishful thinking and pigs might fly, I know, especially in light of this appraisal of Scottish "Justice" under our Scottish National Party "Government" over these past two years (730 days), but we live in hope that they might now have a change of heart and look into ALL the cases of injustice and miscarriage of justice highlighted on this forum and drawn to their attention on numerous occasions over the past two years - and all the others not highlighted here too.

Good luck to all who are pursuing the "McKenzie Friend" Petition at the Scottish Parliament today and I wish you all the very best in your own pursuit of the TRUTH and JUSTICE.

thanks "And Justice For All"
and here is more info

EMAIL TO PRESIDING OFFICER AT SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT

Franck.David@scottish.parliament.uk
Alex.Fergusson.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

HEAR THE PETITION AT
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBK05NbsrZI

I write to express my utter disgust at how the petitions committee are undermining the petitions system as a whole guaging  FRIVOLOUS petitions worthy of their time far more than serious issues.
As spokesperson for legal groups with many victims of Scottish injustice I make the
following points in that their judgement is turning this committee into a laughing stock. As while committee members, who use this time to discuss issues relating to their hobbies  i.e. standing at football grounds, to the extent they judge that petition warrants 30 minutes and the petitioners allowed to give evidence .

While the far more serious issue of failure to get representation in court by Mr Stewart MacKenzie, who has  NOT been allowed to give oral presentation and the committee judge 10 minutes as sufficient time for maybe one of the most serious issues to be raised in this parliament. I attach a recent article that has been circulated widely across Scotland and across the globe to our  extensive network of contacts.

While this committee pontificate about frivolous issues including from the past such  as hedgehog culling and the exact colour of the Scottish flag we are nauseated by the disgraceful waste of MSP's time and the large salaries they receive while failing dysmally to accurately guage the mood of the Scottish public.
I would state Scottish msp's are nothing but buffoons who have failed Scotlands people time and again especially those who now operate in the petitions committee.
Holyrood is   turning into a laughing stock when we know many of those msp's are in the pockets of the Law Society of Scotland as proven by Bill Butlers typically negative comments on that petition today.

I timed approximately how long each petition was heard for and the stats are as follows.

PP meeting 5 may 2009

PE1248 APROX. TIME  SPENT  30 minutes

PE1249 APROX. TIME  SPENT  30  minutes

PE1245 APROX. TIME  SPENT  3 minutes

PE1246 APROX. TIME  SPENT 4  minutes

PE1247 APROX. TIME  SPENT   10 minutes

I write to the presiding officer seeking an investigation into why a decision was made by the committee as a whole to give approx. 1/3 of the time to discuss PE 1247
compared to PE 1248. Shocking and a shambles due to the thousands of lives every year destroyed thanks to the illegal legal MONOPOLY this committee have continued to support throughout this parliament.

YOURS IN DISGUST

BREAKING THE SILENCE OF THE BBC (AUDIO ADDED)

We now have both radio interviews up online

INJUSTICE IN SCOTLAND BBC RADIO 06 May 2009
http://www.youtube.com/v/EtD2N7lEVyM

CORRUPTION IN SCOTLAND BBC RADIO 06 May 2009
http://www.youtube.com/v/Dm8YoPbwgbw

This morning David Emslie and myself were interviewed briefly on Radio Scotland.
This was UNIQUE to the BBC who have been expert at hiding the massive injustice that is going on in Scotland via courts that are destroying lives on a daily basis.

David discussed the utter corruption Scotland is ruled by and the effect it has had on his life.
I briefly discussed the letter I sent to Scotlands presiding officer as to how our group members petition was addressed at yesterdays hearing before the public petitions committee at the Scottish Parliament.

Peter had this up online minutes after it was finished . Absolutely amazing feat.
You can view this at http://www.youtube.com/v/wBK05NbsrZI

I also discussed Davids appalling treatment were he was forcibly evicted from his home without notice and when he was out shopping. Also being forced to sleep for months in his car all winter and while seriously ill. We have video'd that evidence and when we finish the film editing it will be up online for ALL to view.

David Emslie is maybe the most powerful opponent of the scum that rule Scotland by force. He has taken on the Lord Advocate and the Chief Executive of the Law Society and won . He is one of the most brilliant legal minds who the establishment SHUT UP as he was making to big an impact on their lives being EXPERT at exposing the scams they use.

He was also a major contributor to the action I took against the first minister for the failures to protect my child from the legal abusers in Scotland and the psychological torture meted out to my child and many other kids across Scotland to satisfy the ruthless greed of the legal mafia, supported by the political mafia.

Hopefully Peter may be able to capture the streaming if i cannot get this myself which we can put up online for everyone to hear. What was noticeable and maybe for the VERY first time that the presenter did NOT cut off the speakers who were discussing issues normally forbidden on the heavily controlled BBC.
We look forward to listening once again to this small but important broadcast that opens the door for ever MORE exposures.
