LIVING WITH ............AS A CHILD

I have decided to start this blog as ................. has called me a liar about everything ...... did to myself and other family members in the past ............

I would just like to say if anything I write on this is a lie then lock me up and throw away the key I know there will be no lies as it can be proved in .................. criminal records, my own medical records and newspaper archives also social services records.

It was 1990 when I first met ..... I was about ...... and lived in ............ in ..........when mum took myself and my brothers and sisters away for the day however what we didn’t know she was taking us to a prison to meet ...... as a 10 year old it was exciting just to go away for the day. Going into the prison I remember was quite scary but ...... seemed really nice he had long hair back then which I thought was funny. On the way home mum asked us if we liked ..... and we all said yes she then asked if we would like ..... to come live with us we thought that was great as we had never had a father figure in our lives except our grandfather but he didn’t live with us. Mum told us ..... would be getting out of prison in a few months so for the next few months we went to visit ..... sometimes in prison. Finally the day arrived and ..... came to live with us and it was good to have someone different to talk to as most of the time mum was busy tidying our mess or cooking. The first few days were great but then mum and ..... started to argue about ...... going out a lot and not coming home until early hours in the morning it turned out that ..... had been going to see another woman who stayed in ....... by this point they were always arguing. Then one night I was asleep in my bed when I woke with shouting and mum screaming I lay in bed for about 10 minutes scared as I didn’t know what was going on I decided to down the stairs and see if mum was ok but on the way down ..... shouted at her "and if anyone comes down the stairs ill put this knife through them and then you". I thought he must have heard me going down the stairs so I ran back up and I was scared I heard mum screaming and crying as ..... shouted at her along with thud sounds I knew he was hitting my mum and I was too young and small to do anything so I stayed in my bed and I must have fell back asleep eventually. When I woke my ........ was in the house when I went down the stairs but I couldn’t see mum I asked my ...... where she was and she told me she was in her bed not well as she said she had fallen down the stairs last night I told my ........ that ..... hit her my .......... went in and I heard her ask my mum about what I had told her mum said he didn’t and that she fell down the stairs. I saw my mum lying in bed her face was swollen all over eventually my mum told my ....... the truth that ...... did hit her and was seeing another woman but that he had finished with her now and wanted to stay with mum I didn’t want mum to stay with ..... anymore. MUM COULDNT GET OUT OF BED FOR AT LEAST A WEEK!

After the beating mum took there was friction between family members and my mum as she stayed with him so my mum decided to move and off we went to a town called ......... where my ..... and two of my ........ lived as we were kids we had no choice in the decision even though we had to move schools which I wasn’t to happy about as I liked staying in ........ beside my friends and my ........... At first we stayed with my ....... until mum and ...... got a house eventually they got one across the road from my ...... it was needing a lot of work ....... was doing most of the work to the house but most of the time he was drinking and taking drugs. It was around Christmas time we all were still at my ........ as the house wasn’t finished ....... was out drinking and was late coming home and mum was raging as soon as he stepped through my ......... door they started to argue this went on for around 10 mins until my ....... told them to stop it ...... grabbed my ....... and threw her towards the Christmas tree she hit the tree which was in the corner of the room she got hurt against the wall and I remember she looked terrified after that my mum started shouting more the situation escalated ....... GRABBED MY MUM I remembered .......... and shouted "LEAVE MY MUM ALONE". he turned and said "WHO YOU TALKING TO YA FUCKING WE BASTARD he grabbed me and dragged me to the room where I and my 2 brothers were sleeping he threw me onto the mattress which was on the floor and proceeded to jump, kick punch, and head butt me I tried to curl up but he was to strong I remember a bright flash with each blow my brothers woke up and were crying he told them to fucking shut up and proceeded to switch between beating me and kicking and stamping on them. When I was taking the beating my mum was standing in the doorway screaming at him to stop but didn’t physically try and stop him. After a while he told me to get up I did but was very sore all over I couldn’t see properly as my eyes were starting to close over he said to me "YOU AND YOUR MUM ARE COMING ACROSS TO MY HOUSE AND WHEN I GET YOU ACROSS THERE IM GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU" I believed him but thought at least it will all be over I was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. My mother and me started to walk down the hallway I was in front of mum ...... was behind us as we walked out the front door I heard a familiar voice in the distance I couldn’t see very well so didn’t know how far away he was it was my ........... he was shouting "WHO YOU GONNA KILL YA BASTARD" at that point my mother shouted RUN!! I did and got led down to my ........ by my other ...... and an ambulance and the police were called. I was laid on the settee my mother and ......... came in my ....... was crying and saying to me I will be ok and the ambulance wouldn’t be long I asked him how he got here he said my ....... had phoned him I asked where ...... was and he said he ran back into my ....... house and not to worry but I was worried as my brothers and sister and my were still there just as I thought about that my ....... shouted he’s got ........ she could see him coming out of the house with ........ in his arms my ........ ran out of my ....... house with a poker but he was to late ...... had jumped a fence with her into the fields it was very dark I started to cry for my sister then the ambulance and the police arrived I was taken to hospital escorted by 1 of the police cars more police were called in to search for ...... and my sister the ambulance took me to ......... hospital to stabilise me when I was there I was worried ........ could get there but the police said it was ok and that all the windows and doors were locked and they were staying with me. After about an hour it came across the police radio that they had caught him and that ........ seemed to be ok but was cold they were taking her to hospital to have her checked over I was then transferred to .......... where I was x-rayed all over to the doctors surprise I had no broken bones just severe swelling and bruising but the doctor said to my mother if I was on a solid floor and not the mattress I would probably have been dead. AT THE TIME THIS HAPPENED I WAS ... MY SISTER WAS .... AND MY BROTHERS WERE .. AND ...

..... was charged with assaulting me but after I got home I thought good he was out of our lives or so I thought until my mother came to me the day before and told me to write a letter to the judge to say I had forgiven him I didn’t want to as I hated him for what he did but when I said this my mum started shouting at me saying he would get a long time in prison. She continued to shout at me saying she wasn’t allowed to be happy eventually I gave in and wrote the letter she told me what to write ...... received a ..... month sentence because of that letter and my mother stayed with him I was terrified about when he got out so I went to stay with my ......... in ......... When ...... got out of prison we were all put on the at risk register by social work. My mother was wanting me to come home from my .......... but I didn’t want to eventually I did as I missed my brothers and sisters when I was at home ...... was always apologising but continued arguing with my mother I didn’t get involved in any of their arguments as I didn’t want a kicking again.

Since writing this blog I have been asking myself why did my mother take him back after he battered her and why she stayed with him after he did all of above to her kids I am .... and still don’t know why I’m not going to lie and say I don’t love my mother as I do I just don’t understand her.

Soon after we all moved to ........ and everything stayed the same constant arguing. ...... was always taking drugs. We didn’t stay in ....... long my mother applied for a exchange of houses and we swapped houses with a couple from ........ and thought we would be staying there however we ended up moving to ...... soon after moving to ....... my mother and ...... split they were separated for years then one day ..... turned up at the door late at night with one of his friends they came in a stolen car he was full of drugs and was asking my mum to take him back but she kept saying no he kept on at her eventually his friend tried to persuade him to leave with him but he wouldn’t and said he would leave in the morning so his friend left alone. My mother and myself and the kids went to bed my mum said to .......he could sleep on the settee and leave in the morning.

Morning came and ....... was still there saying he would leave later on and he started playing with a lock knife he had in his pocket tapping it on the chair he was sitting on I could see my mum was starting to get scared she got me on my own in the hall and said he’s not going to go what am I going to do I said you’re going to have to call the police but not to do it in the house she said ill tell him were all going down the street to buy in the breakfast and do it then. At that point I said no the minute you tell him that he will start as he is already agitated with all the drugs he has in his system I told her that I would stay as it would look less suspicious if someone was still in the house and he wouldn’t think you would be calling the police. My mother did that and it worked however after around 2 hours he started to get suspicious asking me where she was and I said I didn’t know why she was taking this long eventually he said I think she’s went to the police and he started to barricade the front door and the windows before I knew it I was in a situation where if I told him I knew she was going to the police he would have stabbed me so I didn’t and pretended I didn’t agree with what she is doing.

Before I knew it the police were on the phone negotiating with him to leave but he didn’t believe it was the police he thought my mother had got someone to do him in so he told the negotiator to prove it was the police by sending a marked police vehicle down past the house the vehicle did go down past and he knew it was them they said the house was surrounded he looked out the window but couldn’t see any vehicles then across a park he saw a van and said to me they are going to shoot me so he shut the blinds and told me to swap t shirts I did it as he was in a very high state and didn’t know what he was capable of however the police asked to speak to me on the phone and asked me if I was ok I said yes they also asked me if he had changed clothes and mentioned various weapons that I had to say yes if he had any of them. The negotiator asked to put ...... back on I did and at that point I told him I was going to the toilet however I didn’t go there I went into the front bedroom and climbed out the window and started walking up the street I was met by 2 police officers who put me in a car and took me up to the local police station to wait on my mum not long after the police told me that ...... had jumped out the kitchen window tried to jump a fence and was floored by a wpc and arrested I don’t know how long a sentence he got for that but there was an article in daily record with heading ARMED POLICE SWOOP this incident happened in ...........

We moved to ....... after incident and one day my mother shouted me from upstairs I went down and she said look at this the TV was on teletext and it said that .................... had been charged with the murder of a .......... woman at that time my mother was calling him all the names under the sun and saying he was sick I agreed. I lived in my own house less than 5 minutes away from my mum then one night my sister came in looking scared and said what I didn’t want to hear .........BACK he’s in mums house I said what and grabbed my car keys and went up to my mums I walked in and he was sitting on the chair drinking a cup of tea I said to him what are you doing here he replied I’m here to see my daughter. Who was conceived when we stayed in ......... I looked at my mum and I knew that look she had taken him back even though she knew what he had been charged with there was no point in saying anything to her as she never listened to any of us anyway what I don’t know is how or who contacted who he had just came from ........... court at that point I left I had had enough.

One morning I was up at my mother’s he was getting ready for court and they were arguing upstairs myself and my two brothers were downstairs when I heard my sister scream I jumped up and ran upstairs and shouted what’s going on my sister said he pushed her I turned and my mother got in front of me I told her to let me past she did and I went for him I WASNT 12 ANYMORE however he backed away and my brothers pinned me as I was going to kill him he stood in the corner of the room looking probably like I did at 12 TERRIFIED! it was then I realised he was only fit to hit women and children he couldn’t face a man and I told him that eventually my brothers let me go and I told him to get out and that I wasn’t going to touch him as he wasn’t worth it after that well basically my mother still stayed with him and is now married to him I don’t speak to my mother and haven’t for years.

When we stayed in ....... my mother was in a relationship with a pretty decent man which eventually ended ............................... Any chance my mother gets she takes him into prison to see him which I’m concerned about as he doesn’t understand she even allows my brother to call him dad. My mother has stopped me seeing my brother 3 times now twice for 5 months and now I haven’t seen him in 2 months. I think my brother deserves to be kept safe but when he goes to the prison I don’t think he is safe. But if ....... does get released I know that he isn’t safe he will be in danger from ........ and I suppose and my ......... as if ........ can assault a .......... year old take a ......... old hostage and stamp and kick an ...... and .......year old then he can definately cause harm to ..... year old ...................................................

I DOUBT IT!!!!
