Election results => Judicial Enquiry? Here I am, a poor cowboy stuck in the US without good access to the election results and the potential shift in politics. Especially as related to Marion Ross' murder, Shirley's decade in hell, and David Asbury's ongoing problems, how will things look on Thursday? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Michael Russell, but the Scotsman yesterday assured me he will be reseated in the Scottish Parliament. Will the long-sought Judicial Enquiry come about? Did the SNP win enough to assure justice after all these years? Won't somebody please put me at ease?

Believe it or not, a Tucson (Arizona) radio station plays BBC from midnight through 5:00 a.m. and when I have insomnia, I listen to BBC. Last night, the big story seemed to be in the election in Scotland as many as 100,000 ballots may be thrown out due to voting irregularities. I thought only Florida didn't know how to conduct an election. After all, that was the state where voting irregularities allowed George W. Bush to be elected president. Please tell me Scotland is better at straightening things out than Florida. What's going on over there?

Dear Pat,
My - your insomnia must be bad!!
It looks like our political support for your man George even stretches to copying your voting irregularities.
The results are still not in despite the high tech system used. It is a close run thing however and if labour is returned you can say goodbye to any enquiry.
I continue to note on clpex the same people continue to defend the indefensible.
There is little doubt that those who have most to fear from the frenzied posting of Miss McBride, Les Brown et al are the SCRO experts and the police. Can you just imagine if one or two of them were involved in criminal activity how they must feel as the spotlight turns on them yet again.
I will post the election result as soon as I have it.
Best wishes,
Iain

The SNP have won - but only by one. So in order to govern they will have to negotiate with other parties. Maybe we will get a judicial review, I hope so.
We got voting papers for local elections as well as the national elections. The local one was using a proportional representation system where you had to mark 1, 2, 3 for your preference, on the national election you had to vote with a cross. Maybe it was not a good idea to have two different voting systems at the same time.

Judicial Inquiry
I see the name Mike Russell above and hope that he now calls for your Judicial Inquiry (Since being re-elected) needed to correct this Miscarriage.
I have faith in him more than anyone else in the SNP and hope he keeps his word.
