Jocky Robertson - slow SCCRC progressAnother case where the SCCRC seem to be taking forever in obtaining crucial evidence which would clear a innocent man.http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com...ed-killer-in-long-wait.5474665.jp The police can obtain a DNA profile from evidence recovered at a crime scene in a matter of weeks yet the SCCRC can't conclude on Mr Robertson's DNA ground even after a year. Surely Lothian & Borders will be held accountable for making this man have to submit another appeal to SCCRC.
Why would they have told SCCRC no samples existed ? Only one reason I can think of:- Because they are afraid of the result |
