My Question At Blackhill Reaches ScotsmanToday I asked the Justice Minister why he met with Megrahi yet refused to meet with my SNP MSP Bill Kidd to discuss my case:
It has made the Scotsman here:

As you will see I have pursued with great vigour these politicians to seek answers to my many questions and will continue to do so until I get the answers I seek.
MacAskill being the Politician he is, always dodges questions, and never answers a direct one whenever possible, but I did get another chance to speak to him in person after the question time was over which to me was a great achievement.
I look forward to my next opportunity to ask Mr MacAskill more embarrassing questions.
I really find it hard to understand why my SNP MSP Bill Kidd could not get this meeting yet Megrahi is afforded such, with the statement that he had a right to be heard.
We all have the right to be heard so get out there and exercise your rights and ask these politicians your questions at their next meeting.

The McLoed Family Question to Kenny MacAskill:
MacAskill showing us no compassion
Published: 01 September, 2009
Sir, We, the family of the late Kevin Mcleod, would like to question why "compassion" (and favouritism) has been shown in the case of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi by Scotland's justice secretary, yet in our and many other cases of injustice brought to Mr MacAskill's attention, he has refused to intervene to help his fellow Scots, who have often been at their wits' end begging for his assistance.

Mr MacAskill could not even afford my family and our MSP Jamie Stone a two-minute meeting to discuss both the shambolic murder investigation undertaken by Northern Constabulary into Kevin's death at Wick harbour in February 1997, and to resolve the issue of a serving prisoner's probable implication. Yet Mr MacAskill personally visited Mr Megrahi in Greenock prison to discuss his case.
If he can meet with a convicted foreign terrorist and express compassion towards him, he should do the same for us.
Allan Mcleod, Firhill, Alness, Ross-shire.
Allan
Do you think there might be some milage in a complaint to the Presiding Officer concerning Mr MacAskill's double standards.
If Megrahi has the right to be heard then so do we.

Good idea but we all know it will come to nothing. The Presiding Officer will never put himself out for anyone unless its in his interest to do it

OK Mr Negativity
So are you advocating no-one does anything because all MSP are corrupt now.
No wonder you got nothing done with your own case.
Get away from spying out from your darkened room from behind your dark curtains and not answering your phone until you know who is ringing and get on with fighting your case if you have one.
As Iain said before they are afraid of people who are coherent so why don't you give it a go, instead of advocating we all sit behind our doors doing nothing:

If you spent as much time on your own issues as you have trying to attack me on this forum then you might be able to progress.

Are you going to tell us now he is a mason too, and this is why he will not act against MacAskill.
You never answered my questions here:

| Quote: | What exactly is your aims and aspirations for our Justice System ?
What do you feel would make it any better ?
And how would you hope to acheive such changes if you trust no MSP's at-all. |
So how about it, how do we progress matters for all ?

How about you go and read the code of conduct for MSP's ?
Try looking at 9,2,5
Where clearly they have a duty to treat other MSP's and their staff with courtesy and respect.
I would argue that not affording another MSP a meeting to allow them to present a case is not courteous and is disrespectful.
But at least people like Allan McLeod and his family are pushing for answers that will help, not just themselves, but others in the same situation by pushing for precedents.
Like, if one is entitled to a visit and to be heard, then everyone is entitled to the same treatment.
At least wish them well in their endevours if you have to say anything.
