Hi Al
I think we need to get a campaign group to take up those cases you mention, and expose what happened, event by event, and which politicians have been invovled in it.
I think, I hope I'm right in saying this, that this is a failure on justice, not across the board of issues of Government. If that is so, and it looks like it is, someone has to take responsibility for it and do the right thing. If they don't they need replaced and quickly too but I know how difficult it can be to get poltiicians to do anything, especially these days.
Nothing like a good dose of adverse publicity though, and a few well placed leaks .... _________________ My blog on issues of injustice in Scotland A Diary of Injustice in Scotland by Peter Cherbi

Hi Al
Interesting. This case seem to revolve around abuse of an adult.
I remember the Miss X abuse case in the Borders, where Christine Grahame took up the victim's case and things were done, although due more to the Scotsman's coverage than anything else I believe, as the Scotsman had their finest journalist reporting the case.
I would just like to confirm whether this abuse case relates to a male or female victim ? Can you tell us that Al ?
I was just wondering whether if it is a male victim, that the people and organisations who should intervene and help are not doing enough, as there is a distinct lack of support and will to do anything for male victims of abuse.
From what you say of the case, there does need to be action and even perhaps an investigation as to why nothing has been done to-date - sooner rather than later.
Perhaps you could send me some of the case details - I'd be willing to have a look at them in the strictest confidence of course and then we could see how best to proceed ... _________________ My blog on issues of injustice in Scotland A Diary of Injustice in Scotland by Peter Cherbi
