The information below was received from Sweden and tells its own tragic story.

Please help Annie’s family!

Dec 4, 2005 Annie Borjesson from Sweden was found dead in Prestwick, Scotland. At the time she lived in Edinburgh but was found dead, probably drowned, on the shore close to Prestwick Airport from where she always traveled back to Sweden.

In her luggage along with her passport there were two library books that she intended to return to a local Swedish library. She had also made an appointment with her hairdresser in Sweden on the following day. A few days earlier when she had called her family it became obvious to them that she was under some kind of threat. Annie even admitted to her mother that there was something bothering her, but she did not reveal any details saying she had the situation under control and would take care of the problem herself.

Some of Annie's belongings are still missing, among them the very important notebook where she kept names, addresses and telephone numbers. And when her family got Annie’s body back home her waist-long very thick blond hair had been chopped off! Who did this to Annie and why?

These and several other very strange circumstances strongly suggest that Annie was on her way home when she fell victim of a crime. Still The Strathclyde Police and The Crown Office refuses to investigate Annie’s death as a crime!

Who can help Annie's family in this difficult situation? Who can help the family get clarity about Annie’s mysterious death? Not only have they lost a lovely daughter, sister and friend but they are also denied a proper investigation about Annie’s death!

i heard about this case a while ago iain. it is something that needs looked at, who were the two seen on the beach that day.

Yes, this is a very sad, tragic and mysterious case that i too was aware of.

No doubt Guje, Annie's distraught mother, will contact Kenny MacAskill MSP (our new SNP Cabinet Secretary for Justice) to see if he will put pressure on the Crown Office to re-open this case - he was an SNP list MSP for Edinburgh and the Lothians while Annie lived there after all.

To Annies Family

My heart goes out to you as a father of two Daughters i dont know how you have coped.
I was aware of your posts over at the Scotsman many months ago but thank Iain for highlighting your very tragic case here.
We are looking at possibly three unsolved murders here if the two convicted of the Margaret Irvine Murder are Vindicated at appeal, Which i'm sure they will be.
Could this possibility, Lead to the police making Mistakes in their desperation to solve these murders.
I note Annies case is not being seen as murder but her mother does not accept this and she must write to our Justice Minister to seek an independent Review of her case as pointed out by Al.

in the case of annie why leave, prestwick, airport and go to the beach, did she meet someone? where is the reasons for u division, to not reopen the case.

FIRST I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYBODY WHO CARES, AND WRITES HERE AND ON ANNIES HOMEPAGE. IT MEANS A LOT TO THE DEVESTATED FAMILY AND TO US ANNIES FRIENDS.

I am sure that there is persons who saw Annie 3rd of December, her last day in life. The police spotted Annie on the CCTV camera 3,5mounth after her death. So they told us that Annie was alive the 3rd, and first was on the Airport to study the timetable, and then she was spotted on another CCTV walking on Station Road.

I have e-mailed the Information reguarding Annie to every email adress I have and Annies mother have, and now I hope that somebody recognize Annie and can help us with Information.

I have been to Scottland and I love the beautiful country, the fantastiq landscapes and the kind people who lives there.
And I have walked down to the Prestwick Bay both in Sunshine and in Windy and rainy weather, and something that I noticed is, ALL the people who runs, bicycles, and walk their DOGS there.

DO ANYONE READ THIS WHO LIVES IN PRESTWICK???

PLEASE THINK BACK, IS IT SOMEBODY WHO ALWAYS WALKS THEIR DOG ON THE PRESTWICK BEACH ?? AND MABYE EVEN EARLIER THAN 08.30 BECAUSE THAT PERSONS CAN BE A STRONG WITTNES THAT ANNIES BODY WASNT THERE AT 07.30 OR 08.00.

I concur wholeheartedly with your heartfelt sentiments for Annie’s family, and agree with your comments in general.

Methinks there are some MAJOR problems with the local constabulary (at U Division) and at the local Fiscal’s Office that need some IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION……

A quickie note to……………………

Mr Kenny MacAskill MSP, SNP Cabinet Secretary for “Justice”

Finger out please … in the THREE CASES mentioned above involving the SAME local constabulary and Fiscal’s Office … I can smell SEVERAL rats from this end of the country……

Can YOU??? (If not, WHY NOT???).

PLEASE put some pressure on your good friends at the Crown Office to re-open the Annie Borjesson case for the sake of Guje, her very distressed family and Annie’s friends … who ALL believe that foul play has occurred and she was very possibly ............ murdered.

It’s the least you can do … surely.

PLEASE don’t become another Cathy Jamieson MSP and continue to FOB this desperate and distraught family (and those seeking the truth and “justice” generally) OFF with the same-old, mealy-mouthed, politico-speak (lawyer) excuses.

They (we) deserve MUCH more and FAR better than that from our newly-appointed SNP Cabinet Secretary for JUSTICE.

al, there has been a miscarraige of justice in the annie case. why walk down station road , who were the two men seen talking to her with cctv where were they situated. were and why would she cut her hair, there is answers needed, from u division , and pf, who was the officer in charge at the scene?. there is many answers to ask. freethekillie2.

guje i would ask and press, u division. you want answers, where is the justice. one day you will find answers we will push for it i am 100/percent behind you u division pf the lot can hide. but the truth will come out in in the end.yours freethekillie2.
