If it is exposed that a prisoner on home release murdered Kevin Mcleod,
returned to prison, then released two weeks later.
MacAskill, Angiolini, Area PFs, Fiscals, Chief Constable, and god knows who else will be running out the exits like the bilge rats that they are.

Renewed calls for Kenny MacAskill to resign ...
MacAskill: I won't quit over row ...

MacAskill vows not to resign over prison row ...
Today the Labour leader stepped up demands for the First Minister to sack his Justice Secretary.
Mr Gray told BBC Radio Scotland's Morning Extra it is an "insult to Parliament" that MSPs were not told by Mr Salmond yesterday of the latest case.
And he accused Mr MacAskill of "unbelievable complacency" in the case of Brian Martin.
"I think the First Minister should sack Kenny MacAskill," said Mr Gray.
The Brown case is the latest in a series of "fiascos" which he said included Mr MacAskill's decision to visit Canada rather than attend a knife summit in Edinburgh, the plan to scrap short sentences, and refusing to introduce community courts.
"I think we will see what kind of First Minister Alex Salmond is now – whether he has the nerve to sack a minister who is failing his Government," Mr Gray went on.
Asked if he would table a no-confidence motion, Mr Gray said: "I think to a degree that depends on how Alex Salmond behaves."
Mr Salmond was last week reported to have threatened an election if a no-confidence motion had been tabled over the Brian Martin case.
Mr Gray said: "We have heard all this stuff before – it's just baby stuff.
"Mr Salmond says he chooses who is in his cabinet.
"So let's give him the chance to see if he has the nerve to do what I think most people in Scotland think should happen, and sack Mr MacAskill."
He ducked questions on whether he had discussed this with other opposition party leaders, and insisted the ball is now in Mr Salmond's court.
"Let's see if he has the nerve to do what I think all the papers are calling for today and that is to get rid of his Justice Secretary because he is letting us down."

Renewed calls for Kenny MacAskill to resign ...
MacAskill must go
Published Date: Saturday 30 May 2009
After the latest blunders of escapes from our open prisons under the watch of the accident-prone Scottish justice secretary Kenny MacAskill, surely the First Minister will finally realise that he cannot continue his loyal support for a man who has upset so many with his determination to introduce damaging justice policies.
His policies have been denounced by judges, sheriffs, the victims of crime and the public in Scotland, who want a safer country to live in and proper justice for those who abuse our way of life.
How many more lives are left in this justice secretary's locker. Regular calamities seem to follow him and his soft-touch justice ideas and, apart from the supoort of the blinkered Alex Salmond, the men and women who don't bother to pay fines or turn up for community service and those who decide to escape from holiday camps such as Castle Huntly, he has little credibility left.
Mr Salmond's standing in Scotland has been badly damaged and will continue to be further dented unless he forgets loyalty and rids himself of this man who has let down Scotland and its world-respected [NOT ANY LONGER!] justice system.

Mr MacAskill should resign in disgrace.
If he cannot deal with matters of Justice then why is he acting as the Justice Secretary on behalf of the Scottish Public ?
http://shirleymckie.myfastforum.org/sutra3564.php#3564
And so say all of us Mr Beck.
Good luck with your ongoing fight for the TRUTH and JUSTICE in your long-standing and unresolved case, which is yet another indelible stain on Scotland's beleaguered, discredited and largely unaccountable "justice" system.
Ditto everyone else who is seeking the TRUTH and JUSTICE as well.
All the very best to you all for the future.

Press Article - Dismay Over MacKaskill Standpoint.
Scottish Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill has failed to cast light on the movements of a former prisoner who has been connected with the death of a young Wick man. The family of Kevin McLeod believe the prisoner was at liberty on the weekend the 24-year-old was found dead in the town’s harbour in February 1997. They have so far been stonewalled in their efforts to find out whether the individual who was allegedly seen fighting with Kevin on the night he went missing was on home leave at the time. In a response on Tuesday to a written question tabled by far north MSP Jamie Stone,Mr MacAskill yesterday continued the official block. The Minister adopted the stance of the Scottish Prison Service whose chief executive Mike Ewart said that disclosing the information sought would breach the Data Protection Act 1998. Mr Stone said he is dismayed by the response and would be following it up with a letter to Mr MacAskill, seeking a meeting over the family’s request. Mr Stone said the disclosure of the information is in the interests of justice. He said: “I see no reason why the question of whether the prisoner was or was not on home release at the relevant time should not be answered fairly and squarely. “It seems to me that if the man in question was, indeed, in custody, it would have been easy for the prison service and the Minister to have said so.” The McLeod family believe the individual who was then 27, was involved with others in a savage attack on Kevin shortly before he died. They have information that the individual was released on weekend home leave from Porterfield Prison, Inverness to Alness on February 7-9, 1997. They believe he travelled by bus to Alness on the Friday to Wick. The McLeods contacted Mr Stone after failed attempts to find out from the S.P.S. and Northern Constabulary whether or not the prisoner was out at time. The family earlier this year had a Freedom of Information request rejected. Kevin’s uncle Allan McLeod was disappointed by the further knockback yesterday. He said: “It’s annoying but I take the continued refusal to release details of the prisoner’s movements as a strong indication that he was at liberty on the weekend of Kevin’s death. “We won’t let this go and we’re determined to resolve this one way or the other. “Everything points to this individual being out at the time and we have witnesses that saw him in an altercation with Kevin. The family has been pressing that the ex-prisoner believed to be living in the Far East , along with two others they suspect of assaulting Kevin, be the subject of a cold case review carried out by a force other than Northern Constabulary. Northern Constabulary say there has not been any new evidence to prompt a fresh investigation. |
