Hi Scotkaz
From what I hear the Gage case will be decided for March at the latest by SCCRC.
Like Scotkaz I also have some books, if anyone would like one please do not hesitate to contact me.
I have a feeling this case will be referred soon, "Fingers Crossed" |

I spoke today with Mr Bill Gage again and it was a total pleasure. But there was also sadness. Mr Gage is dying with cancer. However, he was given a huge boost this week due to a home visit from his son Wullie, who is in my eyes and many other eyes, a miscarriage of justice.
Mr Gage is one of life's givers. He is also very grateful for small things like cards, thoughts and calls. He is as my dad says, someone who has a huge capacity to show love.
Mr Gage Senior has been very ill but today he told me that when he saw his son, he describes the hour as magic and that he felt he could sing and dance after the visit. Wullie also got to see his mum and I spoke to her too. She was delighted to also see her son.
Both said the guards with them where great and where so grateful for this time with their son.
Mr Gage Sn has such strength and is trying to fight this dreadful illness. And he also fights the injustice his son endures every day.
He has fought for so long about the injustice his son has endured.
Please keep Wullie's parents in your throughts and prayers.
Can someone tell me how often in these circumstances a prisoner is allowed to have a home visit? Thank you. |

Scotkaz
Glad to hear Wullie Gage got a home visit to his Father who is dying of Cancer.
As far as I know these visits could be unlimited, I think they are up to the Prison Governor but he must notify the police etc etc.
To my mind they will not tell him to the last minute for security reasons but the main thing is he gets to see his father who is not capable of visiting him.
Who knows he might get a visit every week, If they can do what they done with Megrahi then anything is possible.
Like yourselve I have spoken to Mr Gage and know he takes great comfort knowing people like Iain McKie and Alex Neil "SNP" MSP took an interest in Wullies Case and helped enormously with Submissions to SCCRC.
I hope Wullie can get his grounds of appeal lodged soon and apply for Interim Liberation, and again after Megrahi anything is possible.
Perhaps he will be shown some "compassion" to spend some time with his father a free man until his appeal is heard.
Who knows he might even get a visit from Kenny MacAskill
