So the police lied to the Chief Prosecutor.
Two cops who seen the rings in the house the night Arlene disappeared had been told to keep their mouths shut by senior officers and had both been "hung out to dry" to protect a conviction.
The PF from Elgin also lied.
Also the Crown failed to disclose the information at the trial contained in the statment from a Police Officer.
Lie, after Lie, after Lie, by "All Those" who are supposedly appointed to defend Truth and Justice. ( Aye Right !! ).
Nat Frasers then co-accused Glenn Lucas who had faced 20 years in jail before the charges against him were sensationally droppped was in regular contact with me from May 2006 until he died on 14 Sept 2006, he wanted to join forces with me and Bryan Davies to campaign over this Police investigating Police System in Scotland.
Glenn said to me in a telephone conversation two days before he died of a heart attack
"Allan if its the last thing I do I am going to ram that Queens Medal up(cops) MODERATED ......(name and profanity removed)....... for what he and MODERATED .....(name removed)..... has put me and my family through, He gets a Fxxxxxx Medal for ruining my life, and this was a Fxxxxxx set up just to get a result."
R.I.P. Glenn, I think your last wish is about to come true.[/b] |

When the police lie or forensics get it wrong or lawyers fail to do their job properly or the system is otherwise deficient then the innocent often suffer.
The other side of a very important coin is that the guilty can also escape.
This brings little comfort to the victim and family and often re-opens wounds that have never really healed.
That is why system change is so vital.
We seem happy to have injustice pile on injustice without that system change and inevitably injustice continues.
I do not know who murdered Arlene Fraser and I probably never will.
Those who run our unfit for purpose justice system must bear responsibility for that. |

As we near the end of February i am wondering if anyone can enlighten us as to what is keeping the decision of the appeal court in this appeal.
The last i heard was this.
http://www.stv.tv/content/news/ma..._Fraser_back_behind_bars_20071206
Have they made a decision and took the view that it will cause too much controversy to release as they did with the decision of Brendan Dixon's appeal to Privy Council.
Are there any views and opinions on the length of time our appeal courts are taking and their policy not to release all decisions via the net? |

I visited Nat Fraser in Perth Prison last week. He was looking quite well and feeling better in Perth after being in Saughton following his appeal hearing ( where he was locked up for 23 hours per day in horrible conditions )The other hour was the only time out of his cell in the 24 each day. Nat has been in jail now since Nov. 2007, has had one visit from his Solicitor ( Which was to tell him that there was no news whatsoever on the result of his appeal) I was visiting the appeal courts when Nats appeal was being heard and was astounded at the result on the closing day having heard some of the evidence which was presented . The Crown as usual had their sting in the tail and everyone who was present were shocked at the Judges decision to keep him in custody.
It is concerning in this day and age when you listen to superb presentations from QCs on behalf of their clients , only to hear disparaging remarks from the 3 wise men which makes me so angry (God knows how Chris Shead and compny must feel )
Based on my recent experiances at the High and mighty Appeal Courts i fear for Nat,s Result but hope i am wrong

Matt
Thanks for the info.
I can understand the frustrations of the many concerned, i have after all had this attitude for 26 years now in fighting to even have an appeal.
Anyway not to distract from the subject, "One visit" is absolutely appalling but typical of our system.
Like yourself i fear for Nat Fraser and although i think his grounds are very strong and similar to Kidd, and Gair but to name a few i think if he wins he will be "re-tried".
For definite he was denied a fair trial with the evidence of the rings and the two police being withheld.
We can only wait and see, though the longer it drags out the more it seems they are looking for excuses to refuse.
In my view there is absolutely no doubt about what the outcome should be, just look up Kidd, Gair, Allison and Johnston and all referred by SCCRC Too |

Still No Decision

The above link is proof that when police tell the truth they are called Grasses and hung out to dry, Sent to coventry so to speak.
Who would have thought such a culture existed within the Police.
Anything to preserve a wrongful conviction eh ? |

I visited Nat in Perth Prison last night . I have to report that the man is seemingly handling the situation very well. He looks to have lost a bit of weight but he assures me it is because of his work in the Gym.
I am also disgusted to report that Nat is still waiting on a decision on his appeal . (Since November 2007 )Isnt it terrible to put someone who was out on interim liberation for so long through such an agonising wait while the powers that be deliberate , surely they must be able to make a decision by this time ( should we look at no news is good news ? ) Idoubt it . I was telling Nat about our site and will be sending him some copies of our postings so please feel free to send him your thoughts

Big Mac
It is not so much the decision from the powers that be
they must work hand in hand with crown office to come to the right decision
not the proper decision the right decision
no doubt they are trying to find a way to uphold the conviction for which they will be having severe difficulty according to current law on the disclosure issue
the evidence that the police never had the rings then police come forward later on saying!!!!!! wait a minute!!!!!!!! the rings were there all the time
this denied him a fair hearing for which our courts are bound with recent law |
