Hi Kevin,

Police log sheets showed 'Patrick Docherty' as a prime suspect. This does not of course mean he was the killer but the question is was any involvement by him fully investigated by the Police or did they assume Asbury's guilt because of the print evidence?

'Psychopaths' appears a fair description of the killers of Marion Ross and Margaret Irvine - vicious murderers with no concern for their vulnerable victims.

My point was is it likely that we would have two teams of such murderers in such a small area or could one 'team' have committed both?

There is little doubt that Docherty had enemies and might have been set up but the investigation of both crimes left a lot to be desired and the possibility of the same killers being responsible for both murders needed further enquiry.

I have never said that Docherty or Brendan killed Marion Ross only that because they were convicted of killing Margaret Irvine full enquiry should have been carried out to eliminate them.

This does not conflict with your assertion of their innocence. Put another way if they were not innocent then perhaps they also killed Marion Ross.

Like you I hope that the true killers are eventually identified but at present a great deal of doubt surrounds both cases.

Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Heath links the cases together and it could be argued given Asbury’s conviction and the allegations of a ‘fit up’ that he was none too keen for Docherty and Brendan to be connected in any way with Ms Ross’s tragic death.

The police action in connection with some of Ms Ross's relatives is also extremely interesting and it appears that they or someone close to them  at the time were very much suspects.

Hopefully the enquiry and Brendan’s appeal will take us further towards knowing just what happened.

Best wishes,

Iain

Just like in the Killie 2 case they probably had many suspects but when informers started to speak the attention was switched on to Brendan and Docherty.Could it not have been that the police messed up the inquiry and made Shirley the scapecoat even though they had more than fingerprint evidence at the said time.

Yes it does appear so,they were both violent and brutal which suggests that the killer or killers to be pyscopathic [was mental hospitals in Ayrshire checked for anyone that fitted the bill at the time.]

My point was is it likely that we would have two teams of such murderers in such a small area or could one 'team' have committed both?

On this point I am sorry I have took it the wrong way.

Yes they were convicted of killing Margaret Irvine but that was third party hearsay evidence that is all the crown had.Brendan Dixon was never a suspect in Mrs Ross's murder.

Yes Mr Heath I think links the cases together and at present I think the Marion Ross case should be reopened and the public should be shouting for this to see if there's any link in the both murders.

Yes it was very tragic to hear of Mrs Ross's relatives treatment,They were treated like criminals.and are forgotten about in this whole case

We all hope that the killer or killers of Mrs Ross and Mrs Irvine will be caught when the truth comes out,And justice can be done  for both families.

Kevin,

Free The Killie 2.

For the benefit of those who haven't saw Fiona McBride (SCRO Disgraced Worker, Sacked) (Now Editor of Fingerprint Whorld Magazine) give evidence to Holyrood committee, I dedicate these videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soMhwDueLUs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UmtgzFZJho&feature=user

She has made it quite clear she put their signatures because she knew they looked at it yet i have been told Alastair Geddes's Initials do not appear on the document, But According to her he saw it.  ???

Good viewing in my opinion.

Here are some videos of Peter Swann who SCRO would have us beleive support their case against Shirley.

My God they must have been desperate to allow this man (who doesn't know if it's a left or right fingerprint) to give evidence on their behalf to Justice 1.

Would be interested to know if justice 1 thought him credible too ?

He had the best print he claimed But, Took it from the newspapers (Daily Mail) and all the other experts were looking at the wrong material.

Judge yourselves from the short clips here:

Perhaps he was only out of Carstairs for the weekend when he gave evidence.

More like the Dandy right enough as Alex Neil Suggests

this man swan is clearly suffering from delusions
the minute he said it was a left print his evidence should have been flung in the bin
what great credibility to the last government for allowing this stuff to proceed

hope they get their comeuppence at the next inquiry
