It appears that even after being found not guilty of contempt of court Aamer Anwar could still face sanctions from the Law Society.

In my opinion the Law Society would have a cheek to initiate investigations against Mr Anwar given some of the complaints we have basically seen flung in their bins despite them having numerous competent and arguable points.
My own case is the classic example:
16 of 19 defence witnesses not interviewed before my trial yet Law Society do Absolutely Nothing.
They never even asked the witnesses if my Lawyer contacted or tried to contact them, and their reason :
They are afraid of the answers this is why they do not ask them.
I think Anwar will come through this trial and any attempt by the Law Society to sanction him too.
Best Wishes Mr Anwar

Wullie,
All I can say is Mr Anwar likes the stuff like this.
I can only say when Brendan Dixon was his client, It was John McManus that found all the stuff that is now helping Brendan.
Anwar never found the stuff that is now helping Brendan Dixon,It was John McManus And Mojo Scotland that put all the work into Brendans Case.
I think personally with nothing against Mr Anwar it only helped Brendan when Mojo had access to legal papers.
ALL BRENDAN THINKS IS HE HAS A LAWYER HE CAN TRUST!
Contempt of court I should know about,I had a harder time than Mr Anwar with that charge.
