BELATED APOLOGY FOR SUICIDE REMARK.

The press article below relates to the officer who was in charge at the initial investigation into Kevins death. After he was demoted / sidestepped back to uniformed duties for his failings he then started a campaign of intimidation towards members of Kevins family. - Shame on him.!!

Of course his Senior Officer at the time of this particular incident put our complaint like the rest in the bottom drawer. Thats why he too like Keith Cullen also retired prior to the conclusion of Central Scotlands Chief Constables Camerons investigation. - Shame on him.!!

Shame on Chief Constable Latimer indeed.

It's as if he never learns a lesson.

This matter could have been resolved years ago with a little openness and honesty from Northern Constabulary. Everything they have done has been forced out of them and Latimer should take a long hard look at his defensive self serving behaviour.

It is good to see that the media continue to support your efforts and highlight your battle for the truth.

Attached is the latest press article regarding Kevins case.

The dossier of information which my family and solicitor past on to Northern Constabulary has without doubt NOT BEEN INVESTIGATED.

This is a Blatant Lie by Northern Constabulary Police Force.

This information was given to us in the last 18 month.

We did not want to share this info with Northern knowing that this would be the text book response, but we had no option after the Chief Constable refused my family and MPs request to invite another force to review Northerns handling of the criminal investigation into Kevins death, but yet the Chief Constable is prepared to spend hundreds of thousands of taxpayers money to go to the Court of Session to appeal against the Information Commissioners decision to disclose the names of police officers based at Wick Police Station at the time of Kevins death.

This case from the very outset stinks of a Massive Cover-up and Collusion at its highest levels. WHY ? I think we all know WHY !!

Hi Allan

There seems to be little change in the area of justice/injustice in Scotland despite what should have been a new era for resolving issues like what really happened to Kevin.

I agree there is quite a cover up in progress on this case, and the power to sort this out once and for all resides with the Justice Secretary and the Scottish Government.

It is time they used their power rather than continue to allow such an injustice to further the ends of some in authority who seemingly depend on the cover up to continue.

POLICE DENY MCLEOD FAMILY WERE MISLED OVER THE DEATH OF KEVIN.

Here we the family and our solicitor obtained fresh pertinent information in the last year which we had no other option but to share with Northern Constabulary. Their response was amazing and unbelievable. They said that this information had already been "examined and discredited". WOW !! Maybe their psychic cops !!
So, knowing this was a blatant lie, I wrote enquiring when they "examined and discredited" this information. Low and behold their response read, "The issue of discredited persons does not refer to those individuals referred to by you in your letter". Proving this was a blatant and deliberate attempt to pervert the course of justice by misleading and deceiving my family and I. They are a digging a hole for themselves which is getting deeper and deeper.
Who are they protecting ?? I think all of Scotland know who !!

Mr Latimer who Mr Martin found guilty of "Institutional Arrogance in the Mcleods case has now been called a bully.

Indeed yesterdays story in the Sun confirms what we already knew (Mr Latimer has full control of Northern Costabulary and is not to be crossed) Mr Latimer allowed his officers to Basically Bin the McLeod's complaints for years.

Now here he is involved in ending another officers career because he caught him speeding.

You are a very corrupt man Mr Latimer and I am sure you are proud to have this legacy to leave to your Grandchildren or children if you have any However I support the McLeod's assertion of events in regards to Northern Constabulary covering up for their very own Corrupt Police or should that be Off-Duty Police.

Time you left the force and stop giving it a bad name Mr Latimer.

I hope Derrick Cronie takes his case for constructive dismissal to a tribunal where you would be required to give evidence Mr Latimer.
Bet it would be settled out of court though

well done to Allan McLeod for keeping up the pressure on northern constabulary regarding their investigation into the death of Kevin McLeod.
I do hope that it was a flawed investigation and not a cover-up???
The officers involved should be ashamed of their actions.

Before the pain of seeing Brendan Dixon getting sent to Prison i had heard of Miscarraiges of justice but didn't pay it much attention.

But after being in this forum and other sites it opens your eyes to injustice and sometimes makes me feel guilty thinking why is it because it has happened to my family, would i still think that way if it had never happened

after reading some of the stories on this site and others it has given me hope that my Family are not alone, people do care, they want to right wrongs. people like Iain, Dr Swire, Wullie, Peter, Al, Annies family, and others only looking for the truth.

all in all we are all in the same boat. fighting something that will stop at nothing to make us go away.

SO ON THAT I ADMIRE ALL ON THE FORUM WHO WILL NEVER GIVE IN TILL JUSTICE IS DONE.
