Condolences for Annie's family

Tuesday 26 June 2007

Annie Borgesson (7 February 1975 – Sunday 4 December 2005)

Today we extend our heartfelt condolences to our friends over in Sweden, who are finally (after nearly 19 months of unnecessary delays and compounded heartache) now getting to lay to rest their loved one, Annie.

Our thoughts and prayers go across the North Sea to Guje, her family, Angel and Annie’s other close friends.

May Annie Rest In Peace…………

And, hopefully, “Justice for Annie” and her family will finally be done …… and be SEEN to be done.

With deepest sympathies,

The Concerned People of Scotland

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumnal rain.
When you awake in the morning hush,
I am the soft uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

To Guje, family and friends,

Annie Borgesson (7 February 1975 – 4 December 2005)

I will be thinking of you and I and my family will be taking a moment out of our day to respect the memory of dear Annie. Although we never met she means a great deal to us all.

The fight for justice will continue. Her memory demands no less.

*DEAR ALL*

Thank You for the lovely condolences for Annie’s family!

It was a very beautiful funeral, the church was very beautiful, and old, somebody said, from the year of 1400. Now rebuild of course.
Inside it was small and we All sat together beside Annie’s coffin. the flower arrangements was so beautiful, If I could have made one wish I would have wished that the flowers would be fresh and cover her grave for ever and ever.

The weather was not so god, the rain was poring down, I said, "All the Angels must be crying"

First the minister spoke the words of Good, and then he spoke some words about Annie.
He also read a lovely poem!
We all sang together and then the family, who had brought a CD recorder to the church, played a couple of songs that Annie loved.
Then, the hardest of it all they played the song that Annie had recorded! It was almost unbearably to hear her beautiful voice reaching out and touching all of us!

My tears just poured down.......My heart ached over the family, this must be so terrible for them , to burry their beloved daughter, not knowing what happened to her , not knowing if they will ever find the truth.

The men carried the coffin out to the small coffin wagon, and we walked behind them to the open grave!
Oh my good I thought when I saw the open grave, so deep and so dark, and the rain who was pouring down, Oh my good Annie would be put down into that dark whet place!

Then the white coffin was put down.
Annie’s family, relatives and we friends put our flowers down on Annie, I put my flowers in and I put one beautiful Thistle in on top of the coffin. My son took his necklace of; it is a sign of protection on the medallion! My son held the medallion in his hand for a minute and then bent down before Annie and he said something to her, and then he through the medallion down!

I was so proud over what he had done, and I got strength by now thinking;

Annie is now protected from all evil in eternity, with the beautiful flowers from the ground, the tears form all the Angels, the thistle from the caring people of Scotland and the medallion with the sign of protection!

And then I said to Annie through the rain, with my tears falling,

” ANNIE I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE"

Dear Angel,

Thank you for the beautiful eulogy to your dear friend, Annie.

You described the day wonderfully well for us all over here in Scotland.

As Iain rightly said in his message of condolence:

The fight for justice will continue. Her memory demands no less.

All good wishes to you, Guje, her family and Annie's other close friends.

Dear freethekillie2, Ian and Al!
Dear Mr Salmond and McKaskill!

Well said Ian, We can only agree with the words You wrote;
"The fight for JUSTICE will continue. Her memory demands no less"

Annies family asked me to tell You All that they can feel the love and caring from the concerned people of Scotland all the way to Sweden through the thousand winds that blow.
And especially when they read what You have written on the shirleymckie forum.

Thank you all for lighting candles, taking a moment out of our day, to respect the memory of Annie and We could indeed feel Your thoughts and prayers fly across the North Sea as a warm embrace.

We hope that, “Justice for Annie” and her family will finally be done …… and be SEEN to be done.

Now We hope and pray that Mr Alex Salmond MP / MSP, First Minister of Scotland and Mr Kenny MacAskill MSP, Scottish Cabinet Secretary "for JUSTICE" will HELP the family and all of Us friends and People of Scotland to get the death of Annie Börjesson reopened.

Please Mr MacAskill and Mr Salmond, please do the right thing, there is nothing that can compensate the family, there is no retroactive help that is coming to the devastated family!!!! BUT the caring and loving help from You.

Please, I don’t know if you have families, sons, daughters, Wifes, but Please think if something like this would happen to your children. Or one of your loved ones. (God forbid)
Please think of that, and think of the family that THIS has happened to, they have lost their beloved daughter, she was only 30 years old.
She fell in love with Scotland and she died during very mysterious circumstances in the arms of your beautiful country.

Please help Annies family to get the truth.

They told us, that they should not investigate what happened to Annie after 16.05, when she was last spotted on the CCTV camera at Station Road in Prestwick.

Why?

*Angel*

Dear Angel,

It is clear to us all from your writings on this forum that you loved your dear friend, Annie, very much indeed and she is greatly missed by all who knew her - not least by Guje, Karoli, Charlie, her sisters and you ... "Annie's Angel".

Messrs Salmond and MacAskill must now do the right, proper, decent and humane thing and urgently re-open Annie's very mysterious case for the sake of the aforementioned devastated family and close friends, and in the interests of "justice".

If they do not, then they are not fit to be in the very powerful and privileged positions they now find themselves in, and are clearly devoid of any decency, humanity, "Wisdom, Compassion, Integrity and Justice".

We trust they won't continue to ignore this desperate family's pleas for help in getting to the full facts and truth behind Annie's very suspicious death, and they will do what now needs to be done......

Re-open the case and initiate a Fatal Accident Inquiry into Annie's very suspicious death ...... TODAY.

With all good wishes to Angel, Guje and Annie's family as always,

Al

Dear Guje and family and all Annie's friends.

My sincere condolences to you all on the loss of such a beautiful young life.

Annie deserves justice and the fight must be won to give her and her family that justice, a right given unto all.

To our new Justice Secretary - please see that justice is done in the death of Annie Borgesson and that this culture of indifference at the Crown Office into such cases is reformed.

Your e-mails and texts

* I get a lot of campaigning material sent to me, but there's been a lot of correspondence recently from families who've lost a child in tragic circumstances.

One of them is http://www.annierockstar.com/ and Annie's family are offering her Harley Davidson motorbike as a reward for information.

They believe she was murdered, but the police say she drowned.

I was also talking to the father of a lad who's in jail and it got me thinking about people fighting the system; knocking on doors even when officialdom have said the case is closed.

We might do something on the air about it at some stage in the future.

Dear ALL

Today the visitors to www.annierockstar.com have passed 11 000 visitors.

Annie Borgesson (7 February 1975 – 4 December 2005)

May Annie Rest In Peace…………

And, hopefully, “Justice for Annie” and her family will finally be done …… and be SEEN to be done.

Tonight I will light a candle and pray for Annie and for Annies family that still does not know what happened to their belowed daughter.
I will also light one more candle and pray that Annie will watch over ALL of YOU!

This beautiful poem was posted by AL Tuesday 26 June 2007. And I know that Guje right now is on her way to visit ANNIES grave,
and since it is raining today in Sweden I thought it was appropriate to re post this poem!

Annie is sitting in heaven and today it is raining...
Maybe some of her tears are the gentle autumnal rain.

Best wishes
