Just a reminder to viewers of this forum to watch "Psychic Private Eyes"
this Thursday 11 Oct at 10 pm on Skys Zone Reality Channel 146.

Also tune in on Thursday 25 Oct at 7.30 on STV for a repeat showing of
"Unsolved" regarding the horrific death of Annie Davies from Erskine.

These programmes will hopefully be of great help to, both families fight for justice and the truth, and will without doubt leave Northern Constabularys and Strathclyde Police Forces Integrity And Credability
Questionable and in Tatters.

I know that BBC sells its programs to US networks, and many US programs are sold to BBC. Is there an easy way to find out if and when the programs you mentioned will be shown in the US?

Kevin's killers should be rotting in jail
Published: 19 October, 2007 John,O,Groat Journal.
SIR – We, the family of Kevin McLeod, would like to take this opportunity to thank from the bottom of our hearts all those caring people who have approached us, telephoned, written letters and sent cards since the Psychic Private Eyes TV programme was aired, wishing us the very best of luck in our fight for justice.

It must not be forgotten (something that is rarely reported) that during Kevin's postmortem examination on Monday, February 10, 1997, the pathologist Dr Rankin contacted Mr MacDonald, the procurator fiscal, informing him that the injuries that Kevin had sustained were consistent with "a Kicking" received several hours before death, and that their severity was such that if untreated the injuries would themselves have proved fatal.

The procurator fiscal then informed a junior detective that this was now a Murder Inquiry and should be treated as such; the phrase used was "The Full Works".

We now know that the police did not conduct "The Full Works". Instead they dramatically failed in nearly every procedural guideline in the police manual to conduct a proper murder probe, including Failing to appoint a senior investigating officer, Failing to carry out door-to-door enquires, Failing to cordon or search the Locus, destroying Kevin's clothing, Failing to trace named suspects and witnesses... Oh, and also Failing to inform the family that they were treating Kevin's death as Murder. (And this was a Murder Inquiry.)

The Chief Constable of Northern Constabulary continues to state that the police found no evidence of foul play, the reason being – as the "Secret Report" by Central Scotland's Chief Constable Andrew Cameron clearly states – that the police did not look for evidence of foul play: "It has to be acknowledged that the inquiry which followed the postmortem findings lacked objectivity, clear accountability and ownership, and, crucially, supervision and direction... Had the existence and significance of the injuries been properly recognised and assessed by detectives at the time of the first inquiry, the investigation may well have been directed differently."

Due to Northern Constabulary's serious failings and incompetence in this murder investigation, we believe that Kevin's killers are free to roam the streets of Wick when instead they should be rotting in jail with the keys thrown away.
The fight for justice and to expose the truth as to who killed Kevin continues.
Shame on you Northern Constabulary.

The McLeod family, Nicolson Street, Wick; & Firhill, Alness

In my opinion this is one of the clearest cases of a police enquiry urgently needing to be re-opened.

As readers will be aware I try and maintain as objective a stance as I can while still supporting those who need and deserve answers from our prosecuting and legal authorities.

While I believe that moderate but sustained and determined attack is more likely to achieve results there are times like this when that approach is sorely tested.

I also believe that the new Scottish Government offers us all the best chance of at last being listened to and having action taken but am all too aware that the vested interests are queuing up to ensure little changes.

As Al suggests the Lord Advocate shows every sign of seeking to retain the status quo while trying to suggest that she is forward thinking and a reformer.

As the announcement of the judicial enquiry into the SCRO debacle is yet further delayed a concerted effort by the Crown Office to restrict its terms of reference is deeply worrying.

This does not auger well for our hopes for the future.

I have today written to the First minister, Justice secretary, Lord advocate and Solicitor general pleading and begging for one or all their Personnal intervention in this Shambolic injustice created by Northern Constabulary, asking for the case to re-opened and investigated by another force which has the experience, integrity and ability to investigate murders which Northern Constabulary without doubt has not got.

Having written recently to the Solicitor General regarding suspects who we believe was involved with Kevins death, he then asked the deputy crown agent to correspond regarding my familys concern, whereby the deputy crown agent will not inform me if these suspects have ever been Questioned / Interviewed by police. Why Not? A simple "yes or no" would have been suffice. This is what we are up against.

It will be interesting to see what response we get (if any) from the above also we await the findings of Scotlands newly appointed Police Complaints Commissioner Jim Martin who stated that he was Independent, transparent and open, that remains to be seen.

I will keep you updated.
